It's time to let the cooler breeze into your home but not the bugs...so open the door and keep the screen door closed. Here is where the fun starts! Over the winter, the screen door becomes hard to open or it sticks. What to do? What to do?!
- First try cleaning the door track. You can use a brush or rag. Get any dirt or debris out and spray a little silicone lubricant on the track. Then, slide the door back and forth a few times. See if that helps.
- If not, then a trip to the hardware store will be needed to buy some new wheels. Be sure to take off the old ones so you can get the correct replacements. Install and adjust the new ones and it should be good to go.
- If the door is still sticks and shakes it might be time for a new one!
